    Volcanoes National Park (Hawaii’s Big Island) – See the world’s most active volcano and its flows of molten lava.

    Mount Mauna Kea (Hawaii’s Big Island) - The most impressive astronomical site with 13 telescopes from 12 countries on the world tallest mountain.

    Waimea Canyon (Kauai) - Discover the breathtaking 10 mile (15 km) long and 3,400 feet deep gorge, exposed volcanic rocks formation in an array of rainbow coloured landscape.

    Islands

    Hawaii (Big Island) 

    Hilo: Second largest city after Honolulu, Rainbow Falls, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, Macadamia nut factory and great departure point to Volcanoes National Park.

    Kealakekua Bay: Mile –wide bay and marine sanctuary also known for Captain Cook’s last battle where he died on February 14 1779.

    Kailua-Kona: Sunny Big Island tourism capital, Hulihe’e Royal Palace on ocean-front Ali’i Drive and location of the world famous Ironman triathlon.

    Mount Mauna Kea: The most impressive astronomical site with 13 telescopes from 12 countries on the world tallest mountain with 33,480 feet (10314m). Akaka falls, the tallest fall in Hawaii (420 feet), is located on the east side of Mt Mauna Kea.

    Volcanoes National Park: Kilauea is one the most active volcano on earth where you can witness flows of molten lava (UNESCO world heritage site).

    Hawaii’s west Gold Coat including historic Kona, fields of coffee including the famous 100% peaberry Kona coffee, macadamia nuts fields, breathtaking coastal scenery, Hapuna beach state park, St. Benedict historic painted church, and unique sea horse farm.

    Pu’ukohola Heiau National Historic Site: Imposing seacoast temple built by king Kamehameha I.

    Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park: Beautiful ocean-front sanctuary which served as a place of refuge and sanctuary since ancient time. In the afternoon, you can also sea green turtles coming back from sea and lying on the small beach on Keone’ele cove near the Hale O Keawe Heiau temple.

    Kaho’olawe

    Small Island used by the US many as a military and training base recently given back to Hawaiian authorities.

    Kauai

    Garden island of Kauai with its lush vegetation including the Fern Grotto accessible via the Wailua river between Lihue and Kapaa and many falls such as Wailua, Opaeka’a and Hanakapi’ai falls.

    Lihu’e: Nawiliwili cruise port, Kalapaki beach and Kauai historic museum on Rice Street .

    Many Hollywood shooting site including scenes from Jurassic Park, Raiders of the lost ark, Gilligan’s island and South Pacific.

    Princeville: Touristy destination with many hotels and other accommodations.

    Na Pali Coast: Spectacular cliffs remain wild and uninhabited.

    Waiema Canyon and Koke’e state park: Discover the breathtaking 10 mile (15 km) long and 3,400 feet deep gorge, exposed volcanic rocks formation, beautiful falls and an array of rainbows, best viewpoint at Waiema Canyon Lookout and multiple trails and paths at the canyon and at the Koke’s state park.

    Best beaches: Kalapaki beach, Lydgate Park, Lumaha’i beach, Ke’e beach, Po’ipu beach, Shipwreck beach and Haena beach.

    Lanai

    Lanai’s city (3000 pop.) where most of the island population resides in small coloured houses and nearby Luahiwa petroglyphs site.

    Hulopo’e beach one of the most beautiful beach in Hawaii.

    Pineapple plantations, Asian axis deer and small unpaved roads make Lanai’s a unique destination in Hawaii.


    Maui

    Maui Ocean Centre: A large marine park and tropical aquarium with plenty of local fishes, sharks and coral.

    Maui Tropical plantation: Fruit plantation, macadamia nut orchards, sugar cane fields, flower gardens and many tropical plants.

    Iao Valley State Park: Iao Valley with its 7 mile strip of land covered with lush vegetation and criss-cross with multiple walking trails and paths in between Maui’s 2 volcanoes.

    Road between Kahului and Hana: Famous drive with winding roads, waterfalls and plunging lava cliffs.

    Haleakala National Park and Crater: Lunar-like landscape made of various lava formation rising over 10 000 feet+ above sea level.

    Maui beaches: Best beaches are located on Maui’s west coast include Kapalua beach, DT Flemming Beach Park, Napili beach and Ka’anapali area.

    Lahaina: Quaint town of the west shore of Maui with boutiques, shops, restaurants and historical sites.

    Moloka’i

    Moloka’i museum and natural center on the history of Moloka’i, Kamakou preserve, Kalaupapa peninsula and several beaches including Kawakiu, Papohaktu and Dixie Maru beaches.


    Ni’ihau

    Ni’ihau is a unique traditional small private island accessible only to its 250 local residents. Residents fabric highly prized tiny coloured seashells leis only found on Niihau island.

    O’ahu

    Honolulu: Biggest Hawaiian city and Capital with many modern buildings, historical district, the Iolani Royal Palace, Hawaii Maritime Centre, Bishop museum on Hawaiian and Polynesian culture and tradition, Mission Houses Museum, Cathedral of St-Andrews, financial centre, Chinatown and many shops and boutiques.

    Waikiki: The 2km world famous beach with numerous hotels, restaurants and boutiques and a magnificent view of Diamond Head volcanic crater.

    Pearl Harbour: Site of December 7 1941 Japanese surprise attack with USS Arizona Memorial, Submarine Museum and Park and USS Bowfin submarine.

    North Shore: Kahuku Sugar Mill, Dole plantation, Sunset Beach famous for its huge waves in winter and the prestigious surf triple crown competition, Ehukai Beach Park colossal Pipeline and Banzai waves, Makahiki celebrations at Waimea falls botanical and cultural park, the Polynesian Cultural Center in La’ie and Haleiwa surf city and beach parks.

    East Coast: Natural reserve and Beautiful beach of Hanauma Bay and Lanikai, Sea Life attraction Park with dolphins, sea lions and Hawaiian coral and marine life, 8km Kailua Beach one of best in America, Byodoin Japanese Temple and many other beaches.

    West Coast: The isolated western coast offers some interesting areas including Makaha Beach Park, Pokai Beach Park, Hawaii’s plantation village, Ihilani beach and the Hawaiian Waters adventure park

    Midway Archipelago

    Sand Island (3 square mile) is the only inhabited island where you can visit the Midway Atoll national wildlife refuge and various bird species, Midway city with its small wooden houses, historic sites and the beautiful north beach.
